Does Willow Springs HOA want a community pool?

Your board is asking you to weigh in on whether you would like to have a pool available for use in your common areas.

The pool would be built with funds specifically gathered for this purpose. We would create an "escrow" type of account where the money would be held while the facility is built. There would then be a special Membership (Pool Club) for those who want to use the pool. No one will be obligated to participate. You will choose to help fund construction and pay a unique Membership fee to use the pool.

Estimates and Assumptions

The pool, its associated buildings and equipment, is estimated around $300,000.00. Annual maintenance costs may be around $2000.00

If we work on the assumption that half of the Lot owners in Willow Springs will participate (247) then your "buy-in" would be $1214.00 and your maintenance share would be around $10 a year.

Your Membership in the Pool Club would be tangible and part of your property. If you sell your home your Membership would go with it. Likewise if a homeowner decides to join the Pool Club in the future they can pay their buy in and agree to the membership rules.

Card Lock Security would be employed to be sure only Members of the Pool Club can access the pool. If anyone is delinquent on their dues then their card is turned off.
